Hey All!

Have your heard of Twelve South? They are the ORIGINAL makers of the Book Book cases for Iphones, Mac Laptops, Ipads, and Now Ipad Mini’s! They make leather cases that make your devices look like an old vintage book! Some are zipper bound depending on the device. I am obsessed with these cases. You can see my Iphone 5 Book Book below! I love it as it also doubles as a little wallet as it has slots in it that you can put your ID and credit cards in. It’s perfect if you’re carrying a small bag for a night on the town!

You can imagine how excited I was to get the opportunity to review the New Ipad Mini Book Book case. They come in 3 different colors: The Vintage Brown, Vibrant Red, and Classic Black. I got the Vibrant Red color and it’s essentially the red binding of the book is red.

It’s an extremely well made case and has a book-like shell for added protection.

People often mistake this for a Book when I’m carrying it around. I think this is a great thing as I think it gives your device a little security as no one really wants to steal a book. They do however like to steal Ipad’s and Ipad Minis. I personally think any disguise for my Ipad Mini is a good one. The Book Book is the perfect disguise.

It will protect your iPad mini from those accidents that can happen, like falling. The suede-like soft interior keeps the iPad mini’s display safe from scratches.

It’s also relatively thin as you can see above. It’s not thicker than a short book and is super easy to carry around. When the case is open, the leather pouch holding the iPad mini does not restrict access to the display, home button, FaceTime camera, speakers, audio controls, sleep/wake button and Lightning connector. The BookBook’s design also allows the iPad mini to be easily propped up for typing.

It can also be propped up higher for watching your videos. It’s the perfect travel case for your Ipad Mini!

Over all, I think the Book Book case for the Ipad Mini is the best case out there for it. I’m not just saying this because I love the Book Book Cases. If you are looking for a case that is both multifunctional and unique for your Ipad Mini, this is the case for you!

I love that it looks like an antique book. Totally cleaver. I remember having a soda can like that about 20 years ago. The top screwed off and it was a mini-safe.

  2. Nicole Newby says

I love that it looks like a book, and that you can stand your ipad/tablet up. That would come in handy for me when playing videos for my son, and when looking up recipes while cooking!

  3. Lori Goldstein says

My favorite feature of the Book Book is the “prop up” capability to allow ease in both typing and viewing videos.

  4. Jill Myrick says

I love that it can be propped up for accessing all the features of my iPad mini without restricting any of the features.
