When upgrading to a smartphone, consumers can be overwhelmed or even confused by the options and features of their new device. To help customers become more familiar with their smartphone, Verizon Wireless offers in-store wireless workshops across SoCal in English and Spanish. The workshops feature an overview of the device and 1:1 time with Verizon representatives to ask questions and learn everything about their smartphone.
I recently went to an event to experience these for myself at a local Verizon Wireless Store.
They give the workshops in store with two Verizon Wireless Reps.
They give the workshops in English and in Spanish. They give them especially in Spanish for all the Latino community as lots of Latinos unfortunately return their phones in the first few weeks of owning their phone simply because they don’t know how to use them. This is a great way for people to learn how to use their phones so that they don’t return their phones.
Here is some customer feedback who have taken the workshops:
- “Providing these classes is outstanding and absolutely necessary. It’s really nice the Verizon has gone a step beyond in what they needed to do to help customers,” said Carole Henry, from Los Angeles
- “The workshop was extremely helpful and the Verizon team was very patient, professional, kind and handled questions very well.” – Maryanne from Marina del Rey
- “I didn’t know how to use my tablet very well, and now I have a better understanding of how it works thanks to the workshop.” – Claudia from Montebello
The plans, phones, and workshops offered by Verizon Wireless are amazing. The workshops are really a great way that Verizon Wireless is showing how much they care about their customers and how much they want them to love their devices!
