While at the Convention BlogHer ’12 last week I got the amazing opportunity to meet with some super fabulous ladies from Microsoft and preview some of the latest products from them as well.  I have to say they were pretty amazing! The products and features I saw were absolutely a must have if you’re a Blogger or are perfect for kids and college students going back to school!

I loved previewing Windows 8 which will be launching on October 26th! The apps look so vibrant and it’s so easy and fun to use. It’s perfect for learning as the imagery and layout of the application itself is very visually appealing to the eye and makes you want to use it for hours. I would have played wit it all day if I could have! Make sure you stay connected on The Windows Blog in the Blogging Windows section for all the latest on the new launch.

I also learned about their new Windows Upgrade Offer which is if you purchase any eligible Windows 7 PCs that are preinstalled with Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate and include a matching and valid OEM Certificate of Authenticity through January 31, 2013 will be able to purchase an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $14.99 (U.S.) which will be redeemable when Windows 8 is generally available.

I also learned about their awesome Windows Back to School Offer where students can buy a Windows 7 PC and get an Xbox 360 for free. YES FREE! How awesome is that! That is saving a ton of money when you’re buying a pc since those Xbox 360′s cost a pretty penny! Trust me I know! What more could you want, just in time for back to school?

Students get a free Xbox 360 with the purchase of a new PC for $699 or more from participating retailers*. All you really need for college.

And what’s even better is these two offers can also be combined!

I also got to see the latest in New MS Hardware including the Wedge Touch Mouse and Wedge Mobile Keyboard.  You can see them in my picture above being showcased and paired with a tablet featuring the amazing Windows 8! They will also be coming out with a  Sculpt Touch Mouse and Sculpt Mobile Keyboard! These products are perfect for any tech savvy mom who is always on the go, aka a blogger like myself, but they would also be amazing for any college classroom as well!

All these amazing new products will be available soon at the online Microsoft Store and through other retailers. The Microsoft Touch Mouse is available for purchase now, and its updated Windows 8 gestures will be released in time for Windows 8!

They also just launched announce the latest and greatest designs the popular line of Limited Edition Artist Series mice!

What makes these mice so fabulous you ask? Well 1st off it takes advantage of BlueTrack Technology, which combines the power of optical with the precision of laser for remarkable tracking on virtually any surface.

Secondly it has a Plug-And-Go Nano Transceiver. Leave the nano transceiver plugged in when you’re on the go, or stow it in the mouse.

And 3rd it has 8-Month Battery Life! Use your mouse for up to eight months without having to change batteries. Battery status indicator tells you when battery power is low.
